It’s summer at the National Building Museum!
Explore world architecture, building materials, and LEGO® brick design through hands-on activities and tours of the museum!
Brick City: World Architecture Brick by Brick is a week-long summer camp in which children will explore architecture from around the world and express their creativity through LEGO® bricks! Diving into the Brick City exhibit, discover the Colosseum in Rome, domes in Russia, arches in France, and houses in South Africa. Explore famous buildings in countries like Mexico, China, India, and England. Using thousands of LEGO® bricks, learn professional building techniques and participate in design challenges related to building in the countries you “visit.” Recreate well-known buildings with LEGO® and experiment with the LEGO® architecture studio kits. Then design your own building with influences from your favorite country.
