NATIONAL BUILDING MUSEUM ANNOUNCES ONLINE HOLIDAY GIFT CATALOG

WASHINGTON, D.C. – November 2, 2022 — Today, the National Building Museum released the Museum’s Holiday Gift Catalog. With the upcoming gift-giving season, the National Building Museum has a wide array of gifts and eclectic products. Hailed as one as one of the best Museum Gift Shops in America, the National Building Museum’s Shop is a perennial favorite among locals and visitors to Washington, D.C. Original items range from books, home décor, toys & games, and ornaments, among others. The Museum Shop ships anywhere in the U.S. so shoppers don’t have to live in D.C. to access these treasures.
This year’s catalog features several products exclusive to the National Building Museum Shop, including:
- The D.C. Neighborhood Tote Bag: Highlighted on the front cover of the catalog, this canvas tote bag is strong enough for handling all your needs from hauling groceries to a weekend’s worth of clothing.
- The Washington D.C. Rivers Collection: This collection of products, depicting the distinctive street grid pattern of D.C. shows how the region is divided by the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers. Products include a mug, blanket, hand towel, placemat, shower curtain, and wash cloth.
- The Skyscraper Note Blocks Collection: These tall blocks of note paper feature a Downtown skyscraper, a Berlin skyscraper, and a SoHo Townhouse. Found exclusively at the National Building Museum, these are originally from Berlin, Germany.

MUSEUM STORE SUNDAY
On Sunday, November 27, 2022, the Museum Store is participating in Museum Store Sunday, an annual event celebrating museum shops and their mission-related products which play a vital role in helping arts, cultural and nonprofit attractions educate and thrive.
MUSEUM HOURS
Thursday through Monday, 11 am to 4 pm. The Museum Shop is located on the main floor.
MUSEUM MEMBERS
Museum Members receive a 25% discount during Member Shopping Days, Friday, November 25 through Saturday, December 24, 2022.
