Announcing the National Building Museum Resilience Campaign

AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR CHASE RYND

It has been a challenging time for the entire National Building Museum community as we navigate the coronavirus pandemic and the changes it has imposed on our lives. As you likely know, the Museum postponed our planned reopening in March and remains closed. This unexpected event has been tough for the Museum’s staff, especially after our three-month closure due to building renovations.

While our staff is working remotely, we are sharing some of our extensive resources and other compelling content with the community. Watch a video from our Spotlight on Design lecture series, enjoy a virtual visit through our Exhibition webpages, or connect with us on Instagram or Facebook.

I am reaching out today because the Museum has set a goal of raising $100,000 to help weather this difficult time. We are calling this effort The Resilience Campaign.

DONATE

For four decades, we’ve been the only U.S. institution focused wholly on the built world and its power to shape our lives, our communities, and our future. If you believe in this mission and have the means, now is the time you can make a difference! Please make a contribution to the Museum’s Resilience Campaign today. We need your support more than ever.

Thank you for being part of the National Building Museum family. On behalf of everyone who works here, I hope you and your loved ones stay safe. We are thinking about you all, and we cannot wait to welcome you back to the Museum.

Sincerely,
Chase SignatureChase W. Rynd, Hon. ASLA
